When kids are dealing with a stressful time, play therapy helps them regain balance and find themselves again.

A child is sitting at a table making a colorful collage with torn pieces of paper arranged in a rainbow pattern on a circular outline in the center of the paper.
A child in a red sweater sitting on a wooden floor reading a book, with a colorful boxed game labeled 'Monica Maas' on the floor beside them.

Kids don’t know how to tell you what they’re feeling or what will help them.

Play therapy helps your child express this so you can understand them. Through pretend play, your child creates new solutions and finds inner strength.

A woman with short gray hair sitting on wooden stairs, smiling and gesturing with her hands. She is wearing a navy blue t-shirt with colorful heart designs, black jeans, and blue sneakers. The staircase has white brick walls on the sides, a black handrail on the right, and some hanging colorful balloons in the background.

We use toys, games, books and art supplies to speak your child’s language and support their growth in a natural way.

My office is made for creative expression and your child will love being there. In time, your child sees their experiences in a different light. They get stronger and smarter at dealing with hard things. They smile, laugh and play. They can relax and life can be fun again!

Let’s get your child back on track.  I’m available to help.
